Continuing their bid to reissue their entire catalogue, The Cure will finally release a remastered and expanded deluxe edition of their seminal Disintegration album. It’s three discs (!), which includes the original album, rarities/demos and a live set from 1989.
Who says the Olympics is all about sports? Broken Social Scene, Wilco, Iron & Wine, Sun Kil Moon, Stars and more will all perform out in Vancouver some time between February 12th and 28th.
Toronto’s Woodhands have a new album coming out in the New Year. The bizarrely titled Remorsecapade will see a release on January 26th, but the duo will be touring with Junior Boys in October and November.
Editors have hacked into Google Street View to present a unique way of listening to the album: through various stops in the city of London, which inspired the music.
Sex Pistols are looking to sue over an ad by a British ice cream company that has come up with the slogan “God save the cream” – not because they also have an absinthe-based ice cream cocktail called “Sex Pistol.” Right…
